Durch Corona, Brexit & Co. hat die Januar Box ein kleines bisschen länger gebraucht, nun ist sie aber da und ich finde, dass sich das Warten gelohnt hat!

Wie immer ist das Herzstück der FairyLoot natürlich das Buch: Lore by Alexandra Bracken – neben dem Buch, das sogar signiert (printed) war, war wieder ein Brief der Autorin (auf dem Bild seht ihr davon die Rückseite mit der Illustration) mit dabei. Auch hier mal wieder eine exclusive edition mit einem illustrierten Dust Jacket (Schutzumschlag) und nicht zu vergessen einen grandiosen Buchschnitt. So sehr ich die Gestaltung vom Buch auch wieder bewundere, muss ich auch zugeben, dass ich ein klein wenig traurig bin, weil ich das Originalcover so toll finde. Nichtsdestotrotz freue ich mich wahnsinnig über das Buch!

Inspiriert durch Eros & Psyche und designed von @taratjah gab es ein trinket dish – ich habe zwar schon ein paar in meiner Sammlung, muss aber sagen, dass ich das Item einfach cool finde. Und irgendwo findet man dafür immer ein Plätzchen. Auch enamel bookmarks gab es schon ein paar in diesem Stil, doch dieses von @monolimeart mit Athena gefällt mir besonders gut. Einfach richtig toll! Den book sleeve von @chattynora und inspiriert durch Circe by Madeline Miller ist nicht unbedingt mein Highlight. Ich finde das Item an sich super, und die Aufmachung ist auch ok, haut mich nur eben nicht komplett aus den Socken. Den wooden spatula feiere ich dafür umso mehr! So einen gab es ja bereits mal und diesen, inspiriert durch Lovely War by Julie Berry und designed von @kdpletters packe ich sofort mit zu meiner Sammlung – super praktisch und macht dann auch beim Benutzen richtig Spaß!

Leider benutze ich einfach keine iron-on patches, muss aber schon sagen, dass ich das Medusa Motiv von @alyesasworld schon echt toll finde! Mit Prints kann ich mich ja mittlerweile totschlagen, daher habe ich jetzt nicht unbedingt DIE Freudensprünge gemacht. Bin mir aber sicher, dass Percy Jackson Fans mit der Zeichnung von @arz28 ihre Freude haben werden! Zu guter Letzt noch die beiden Tarotkarten, inspiriert durch The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh und designed von @arz28.

Die Box hat mir wieder richtig gut gefallen, es waren ein paar Items enthalten, die bei mir definitiv zum Einsatz kommen und auf das Buch freue ich mich ganz besonders! So war auch einfach die Umsetzung vom Monatsthema sehr stimmig – so kann es gerne weitergehen und ich freue mich schon auf die Februar-Box!
